So, why is this blog entitled "The Heart of Victory"?
About a year ago, I was on a run when a kept on hearing this phrase over and over. "The Heart of Victory, The Heart of Victory, The Heart of Victory." I didn't really know what it meant at the time. I thought it was a catchy phrase. I thought it had a nice ring to it. "That would make a great book title," I said to myself. And, maybe it will one day soon.
Anyways, since that time the phrase has begun to come together. The 'heart' side of it is all about the fact that we live life from our hearts. Out of the abundance of our hearts we speak, as we think in our hearts we are. We form feelings, beliefs, values, decisions, etc. from our hearts. In essence, we create our reality from within our hearts.
To me, this is a powerful concept. I can determine what my life looks like by determining what is in and therefore coming out of my heart. If my heart is at peace, then my life will be at peace.
The 'victory' side of things adds a lot if you ask me. I have always heard this word. I have always seen it associated with certain things. But I began, and I'm continuing to search for the true meaning of this word 'victory'.
But, to make this a fairly short post, the phrase "The Heart of Victory" simply means that we can live in victory. Victory, as with everything in life, is an issue of the heart. I desire for myself, my marriage, my family, my career, to go beyond simply experiencing a 'win' here and there; I desire for everyone to go beyond having an acquaintanceship with the idea of victory to truly living a life in victory. To have victory so saturated in the heart that the only outcome in any situation presented to us in life is victory.
As this blog progresses, I as well as my dad will continue to write on these concepts. We will begin to share our hearts to everyone. We will show you what we believe will transform your heart so that your desires begin to match your reality.
